The Future of Electric Propulsion
Environmentally conscious end users make some responsible choices when they can. They lower their thermostat in the winter and raise it in the summer. This decreases their energy use (with the additional perk of lowering their power bill). Other personal changes include switching to an energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, replacing windows with multiple-panes glazing, and sealing and insulating ducts and water heaters.
No matter how innovative and groundbreaking the solution, getting the word out is half the battle for a young company. And it involves answering a lot of questions. So it’s probably easier to address the main one that businesses like ours are often asked: what is it that you do exactly and what can you do for me?
We recently interviewed Dominic Spano, our principal engineer, to take a little look into his mind and share more about who we are, what we do, and what our employees find important about their jobs. In the current climate companies that reduce the environmental footprint of their commercial pumps will have a competitive advantage on the market. Environmental responsibility is becoming an important factor in purchasing decisions. However, pump motors can be environmentally friendly and deliver the required performance without additional costs.

Changing consumer preferences means that companies that reduce the environmental footprint of their commercial pumps will have a competitive advantage in the market. But there is another reason to go greener. There are options that can make pumps environmentally friendly, save money, and deliver the required performance, despite some companies, manufacturers, and operators considering sustainable pumps to be too expensive or not powerful enough. So let’s consider their options.
